Simdean

Corrosion Resistant Linings & Pipe work For Corrosive Applications

Hoods & Ductwork

Simdean  have been involved with the complete service of  linings to a range of chemical storage facilities for many years. This work is usually carried out to the storage facility as an in-situ service but linings to new steel tanks  can be applied in our works if required.

There are several different forms the linings take including a variety of  Glass and  Reinforced Polyester and Epoxy Resins,  Plasticized PVC,  Un-Plasticized PVC,  Polypropylene and Polyethylene and now we offer a complete glass flake and Epoxy lining service again both at our works and in the field. Most of the above liners require that of a shot blasted service which we also carry out both in our works and in-situ.

The lining of new concrete pits for effluent and water treatment are a speciality and with the right construction can be carried out within hours of the laying of the masonry. Many applications have involved the renovation of old storage areas where to remove and replace would not have been economical or even possible. In these instances we have created many new storage tank facilities from old ones even leaving the old unit in place.
