Materials of construction are dependant on the application and temperature of the process also the fact that the ductwork is installed external or internal to the building and the need for a guard against Ultra Violet Degradation from sunlight etc. With the above in mind the duct system can be fabricated from uPVC, PP, PE, PVDF, Halor and glass reinforced polyester (GRP) throughout or as a cladding to the thermoplastic for added strength usually where the temperatures of the fume are elevated.
Simdean has for many years been an approved fabricator of the material known as CELMAR which is Polypropylene/Glass fibre laminate.
