Golf Clubs That Match - Produce Better Results - Why Not Upgrade Your Existing Clubs 1.The question, how can I better match the clubs that I make? Weight sort the components, if the components (heads in 6-7 gram increments, shafts that weigh the same and grips that weigh the same) are weight matched prior to assembly, the set will be much more consistent. 2. Use weight sorted shafts and matching grips. 3. Use frequency matched shafts from a good shaft producer or those you may match yourself. Again, with sorted heads and grips, this will create a more uniform playing and feeling set. 4. Matching components is the simplest way to build more consistent clubs. Keep in mind, the length of the clubs and the assembly to be done correctly. But once achieved, sorting of components will ensure better quality custom clubs. Fitting Variables For Club SpecificationsThe importance of fitting all the variables for professional club making and fitting include; Face Angle -
Loft -
Lie -
Length It is important to make certain that during a fitting each of the variables are measured and then fit as accurately as possible. Without such a comprehensive look at each individual's specification requirements, a truly complete fitting is not achieved. |
